Descent into Self - Awareness.

The mystery cult of Ephesus refers to the secret initiation rites surrounding Artemis of Ephesus, the fertility goddess of Anatolia, where trance like states were induced to create connection to other realms and the divine. 

Dogs are loyal and protective companions to humans, as well as guardians of the underworld and guides to the afterlife.

Sedona, Arizona is home to several spectacular canyons carved into the desert's signature reds sandstone landscape. 

Because Sedona sits at the crossroads of the arid high desert and lush riparian river canyons, it boasts an incredibly diverse population of over 250 bird species. 

Ravens seem highly active near Sedona's famous energy vortexes, poetically viewed as the sentinels of the red rocks.

White deer and stags act as spiritual guides or messengers from the Otherworld, leading seekers into realms of self - discovery and renewal. They represent gentleness, intuition, grace, peace, empathy and harmonious balance with nature.

Mother and Child inspired by my African statue of the Bambara tribe in Mali. Known for their sacred wooden figures carved by village blacksmiths to represent fertility, motherhood and community continuity.

Dancers carried or displayed the figurines during nighttime ceremonies, dressing them in beads and cloth while singing to them as embodiments of ideal beauty and social values.

The form shows a seated or standing female figure with a massive torso, elongated neck, prominent breasts symbolising nurturing power and a small child cradled at her chest. Faces display calm, stylised expressions with almond- shaped eyes, complemented by traditional scarification marks and crested hairstyles carved into the wood.

Horses in dreams as 'night- mares' center around personal power, emotional freedom and life momentum. They act as a mirror for your inner drive, reflecting how you manage, suppress or direct your energy. Mares are also fierce protectors of their foals and have a strong maternal instinct. Within the herd they learn about the social rules within the group.
